Treasurer's Report:

None.

Old Business:

None.

New Business:

Kelly Misamore, owner of The Birdhouse in Madison, gave an excellent presentation on birding needs. She said the first step to birding is to have bird identifying books and binoculars. She described the different types of books and binocs that are on the market. Birds have 4 needs for life: Water, Food, Housing and Cover. If a backyard has these 4 needs, the birds will be there. Birds actually need more food during the summer months than they do in the winter, due to the breeding season. Kelly brought a few items to show, that can be provided for the birds, such as feeders and houses and roosting boxes for winter weather.

Refuge Manager's report:

None.

End.

Presentation ended at 8:00pm.
