Treasurer's Report:   Balance May 1, 2007 was $15,667.93. Expenses were $1,768.32 End balance May 31, was $14,919.61

Old Business:

Dan M stated that there were less people visiting during the Folk Festival, but that those there expressed a lot of interest in the Refuge.

Ed S stated that the OWBO event was awesome and the ladies did a great job this year. There were a lot of positive remarks.

Joe R will contact Congressman Hill’s staff to see what we need to do to get a framed bridge print directly to Mr. Hill.

Dave B made a motion that BOCS have 2 bridge prints framed at Binzers, Wilma H. seconded, all were in favor, motion carried. Dave B will drop the prints off at Binzers.

Ken K spoke of the OTL. Stated that liability insurance was a concern. Ken will contact Jim L concerning an OTL Committee.

Deanna thanked BOCS for the gift that was presented to her and Travis.

Deanna passed out OWBO evaluation forms, and thanked all the BOCS volunteers that helped with OWBO.

Refuge Manager's report:

The BONWR staff is busy. All manners of surveys being done.

The Refuge is gearing up for TAKF, has funds to purchase gifts for the kids fishing.

The trail project is a matching grant project (BOCS to match funds) and the construction will start in the fall.

Road repairs and cutbacks are starting.

The BONWR picnic for BOCS members will be September 15.

New Business:

The TAKF event is June 16, Jim L sent word that he has enough financial help this year that BOCS doesn’t need to assist with that end of the event. The Casting Contest needs a coordinator. BONWR will send out news releases.
