| Big Oaks NWR is conducting a special 2-day youth deer hunt event on October 31 and November 1.
To apply for this hunt, send a post card postmarked by October 1 with the youth's name and address to: Big Oaks NWR, 1661 W JPG Niblo Road, Madison, IN 47250. A total of 150 youth (17 or under) will be selected by lottery on October 16 and each youth will be notified by mail thereafter. Those youth drawn can attend an optional deer hunting luncheon/workshop on October 31 (hosted by the Indiana Deer Hunter Association and Big Oaks Conservation Society) and a 1-day firearm deer hunt on November 1. Hunt areas can be reserved by the youth on October 31 during the hunt workshop. |
